This is a very nice and fluffy mattress cover. It has a no slip type of velveteen fabric on the surface and very deep pockets for the mattress. We have plenty of room left with ours. Very comfortable and helps to keep us warm. Great quality, washed up nicely, although I had a hard time getting it in my washer and had to drape it over a clothes rack to make sure it was completely dry.

• "Softest sheets ever!"

These sheets are buttery soft and continue to get softer with each washing. I was worried that they would be stiff like people complained of for the 800 count, but the egyptian cotton must make all the difference.

I have a 14 inch mattress and they fit with extra room for a higher bed.
My only issue, which I'm sure is common on high thread count sheets, is that they wrinkle up a lot. I ironed the pillow cases since they will be the only thing visible, but will probably just steam them in the future. The wrinkles do not affect the feel of the sheets and are something I can live with.

• "Fantastic!"

I just put these one my bed. They are nice, thick flannel - not the cheap, flimsy stuff you'd get as a "bargain" from K**** or W******. For not having been washed yet, they feel pretty soft. I can just imagine after washing them with a bit of white vinegar!! And they fit perfectly!

When it arrives, the fabric feels a little stiff, but wash it and put in some fabric softener and it softens it up. As for the pattern, it has both a outdoors feel because of the deer on it, but also has a south-western feel to it because of the pattern. I am happy with the thickness of the material as well because we have had duvet covers that were so thin that they tore easily. This one seems to stand up very well.
