I just received and assembled this lounge, which is very reasonably priced. The main problem is that it's a bit short -- I'm only 5'6" and my feet definitely are at edge of the chaise, so it wouldn't work for taller people. Also having arms would be preferable. Otherwise the lounge looks great and I look forward to using it for years to come.

• "Aluminum base is great, cushions are not"

I've purchased a few pieces of this Strathwood Falkner set. I received 2 of the dining chairs before I received this 2 Seater.

The Good - The aluminum base is sturdy and good-looking and looks like it will last. And the design is beautiful.

The not so good -
The base is not black as stated, but a dark brown/gray. I prefer this color over black, but not so good for someone trying to match black.

The cushions leave a lot to be desired. First, they aren't even near the color or fabric as on the dining chairs. The fabric on the dining chairs is a thin basic smooth off-white canvas type material. The cushions on the 2 seater are almost light peachy yellow in color and a more tweed, textured material. I did think that at least the cushions would all match! And the quality is only so so on the cushions.

The sizing is not quite as stated. I am putting this in a small space and every inch counts. It says it's 29 inches deep but put flush against the wall it comes out 33 inches.

I would buy this again but I would plan to replace the cushions.

• "Definite Buy!"

I reviewed hundreds of benches on-line, researched specifications and shopped locally looking for the best benches for an entrance to our backyard. Quality construction and value were the main buying criteria. Before purchasing I communicated with two great, helpful people from Amazon who were very knowledgeable and provided additional information on this bench. I could not be more satisfied with the two benches I bought in terms of solid, heavy duty construction, quality of materials, fit and finish, ease of assembly and value for the dollar! A home run all around. I will definately look to buy more of this Manufacturers products. The only downside is the abuse they take during shipping. Don't be to put off by the condition of the boxes upon arrival. They're packed pretty well to take a beating but give a thorough inspection. I had some damge to one bench, none to the other, but nothing that a little wood glue and sanding wouldn't take care of but not worth returning for me based on the overall value and chance of more siginificant damage on a return shipment. A definite buy if you're looking for a stylish, last forever, superb quality bench!

I'm very happy with my purchase of this chaise. I had been searching for a chaise for about six months and was fairly shocked by some of the prices I was seeing: $600-$800. When I came across this one it seemed too good to be true, but thanks to other Amazon reviewers I took a chance and am very glad that I did. The quality of this chaise is very good and I expect it to last for years. The frame is substantial, yet not at all bulky, and the color and tone is very even, a nice dark bronze that would complement almost any decor. I find the cushion to be very comfortable. Shipping was very fast, with the piece arriving within 5 days. Admittedly, it's a big box and I did need help to get the chaise out of the box, but once out I could easily unwrap the rest of the packaging, which was very carefully done. It was very nice not to have to assemble anything.

Additional measurements may be helpful for some shoppers.
From ground to seat: 13-1/2 inches
From ground to top of cushion: 17 inches
Width between armrests: 24-1/2 inches

Overall I am just very happy with this purchase and feel that I have a piece that looks like it cost much more than I would have been willing to pay, and should serve me well for a long time.
